Privacy Policy

Aleef ("we", "the app") is a pet-care platform operated from the Sultanate of Oman. It connects pet owners with veterinarians, pet hotels, groomers, trainers and pet shops. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

We do not collect contacts, calendars, microphone or camera data beyond the photos you choose to attach, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. Card payments

Card payments are processed by our payment gateway. Aleef never sees, receives or stores your card number, expiry date or CVV — the gateway returns only a reference that lets you pay again without re-typing the card. You can remove a saved card at any time from the app.

4. Who else sees your data

• The provider you book with — a vet, hotel, groomer, trainer or shop receives your name, phone number, the pet's profile and, for deliveries, your address. They may use it only to serve that booking.
• Service suppliers acting for us — hosting (DigitalOcean), push notifications (Google Firebase), SMS delivery, and the payment gateway.
• Authorities — only where Omani law requires it.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

5. Where your data is stored

On servers operated by DigitalOcean. Push notifications and SMS may be delivered through providers outside Oman; only what is needed for delivery leaves our servers.

6. Your choices

• Ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it: privacy@aleef.om. We answer within 30 days.
• Delete your account from the app, or by e-mail. We erase your profile, pets and addresses; order records required by law are kept without your contact details.
• Refuse or withdraw location and notification permission at any time in your phone's settings — the app keeps working.

7. Children

Aleef is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child has registered, write to us and we will remove the account.

8. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and access to the administration panel is limited to authorised staff. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will inform you.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
